First off Welcome to Alaska! And next howdy neighbor!! My husband & I woke this morning @ 6am to the sound of our cooler blowing across the deck, guess that’s one item we forgot to bring in. So with the wind & all I decided to get on the wunderground weather site and saw your weather station. And by zooming in on the map saw you’re just off of seldon and not too far from our house. Very nice to know I now can see what the weather’s doing close to home.
I’ve enjoyed reading all your posts on your trip up here. Brings back many memories. We just celebrated our 4th anniversary of living in this beautiful state. My husband, daughter, 2 dogs & I moved from Iowa to Wasilla and drove the whole way through.
I hope you & your family enjoy living here as much as we do. I can’t imagine living anywhere else, we love it here. So much in fact I made my first trip to the “outside” back in February & couldn’t wait to get back.
We can finally say we are now home.
Sorry for the long comment, I tend to be “windy”.
Take it easy & enjoy your new home and state:o)
