Winter Solstice, Continued

It was a gorgeous day, nice and sunny with a few wispy clouds. With the sun at such a low level on the horizon, it makes for some marvelous colors.

I just wish Jan could have been with me to enjoy this day to. It seems we aren’t able to spend much real time together lately, either she has to work or something else comes up. ๐Ÿ™

Also, I’d like to wave Hello to all the British Expats visitors.

Anyway, I took heaps of photos today, so this is going to be a big one.

The following 8 shots were taken at about noon today down on the Matanuska River just outside of Palmer.

  1. Heck, we are colder than you here in New York City this morning. We awoke to 16 degrees and you’re at 20 degrees. Not fair.
