Finally got the double window framed in today. The demo on this window was a bitch, layers and layers of crap wood with a bazillion nails. Then after that I found that the window frame wasn’t square. So, just about every piece of wood I put up had to be custom cut, inside the frame and out.
Also, dinner time for the Deer with a little fist to cuffs.
This was kind of a bitch, things aren’t square around the window. I had to do the inside also, not just the outer trim with all windows.The bottom has a 6″ shelf, room enough for small plants. Hopefully the other windows aren’t as much out of square.
I’ve started taking the cheap ass fucking ugly window trim off so I can measure. The plan is to put barn wood trim up, at least around the living room windows to start with. I just wish I knew of a good wall color that would go with it, something a bit on the lighter side, as the sun doesn’t get in all that much. The house now is painted green, fucking green everywhere, inside and out, fucking green, and dark green at that. I look at samples online, but being color blind, I just can’t tell if it would look good with the trim.
