For a few day last week there was quite a bit of haze in the air, but it made for some wonderful Sunrises. Along with the haze, some morning had nice fog that blanketed the ground. This is one such Sunrise.
Got woken up early this morning by one of the dogs barking. Looking out the window with my sleepy eyes, the sky was glowing, so I quickly set my camera up and headed outside to catch the tail end of what sounds to be a great Aurora show. Missing most of the show, I was able to capture a couple photos.
It’s that time of year again…Deer-mageddon!
Every year at this time the Deer come out in droves, only this year it seems there are many more. Maybe it’s because we have close to a normal year with more snow than the past few, or maybe there is simply more Deer around. The photos don’t really show the sheer numbers, but are a few anyway.
These were all on a nice foggy morning.
These are from a couple days later.
Winking at me.
til next time
Yeah I know, I haven’t posted in about 4 1/2 months. Sucks eh.
Well I tell ya, the internet connection/speed here suck dick! I’ve been looking into alternatives, but it seems the only other option is satellite, and at over $100 a month for just 20GB of data, it’s hard to justify.
I’ve had lots to say, but I’ll be damned if I can remember what most of it is/was. Too much time has passed between thoughts. I’ll start by working backwards, as in the most current first.
On March 2nd, Dawn and I thought it would be nice to try and catch the sunset at Sturgeon Bay. The following shots are from then, 03.02.13 at Sturgeon Bay.
