Out to the Hay Flats

Woke up this morning to a cool and invigerating -12.8*F with clear skies and a full moon. I knew it would be a wonderful day to get out and let the dogs run a bit, so we headed out to the Palmer Hay Flats. I think by the time we got there we had reached our high temp for the day at -1.5*F. I snapped the first photo just before a wave of freezing fog rolled in from the inlet. I do think that the fog made for some really dramatic photo’s.

The pictures from today.

Almost the same view as the last photo, but the freezing fog was rolling in.
