Yes, it’s starting to feel a little like the movie, day after day of just wonderful weather. Today it got close to 40* F with bright sunny skies. Went out for another little hike, I was dressed way too warm with only a shirt and sweatshirt on top. So, I headed up Hatcher Pass, but didn’t stay, just took a few pictures. I then went over to Palmer and out to Knik River Public Use Area again. This time we, the dogs and I, walked across Mud Lake, not quite all the way, but damn near. This area is big time moose zone, there were tracks and droppings everywhere. I saw a moose on the other side of the lake running, not sure why it was running. Being out there on the lake, with no trees to jump behind, I started thinking it might be a good idea to start carrying a gun for protection. Either way, it was another wonderful warm sunny day for a walk-about.
