Knik Glacier, This Time With Jan

We, Jan and I, headed out to the area I was at yesterday, I wanted to show Jan this spot. Was a bit cloudy, but it was still great and I think the pictures came out better, not so much glare. We drove down the beach for a ways until we found what looked like a trail heading back into the woods, well, I’m sure it was a “trail”, but it was also a river. I believe it was Jim Creek. Needless to say, not knowing the area yet, we turned around and headed back. We climbed up a couple of mounds that are around there, see great views. Next time, I explore more.

Knik Glacier. The very tall peak in the back is Mt. Goode at 10,449ft.

Part of Chugach Mountains. Mt Plamer is the furthest peak( 6,600 ft) and you can just see Hunter Creek Glacier, middle right.
