Great Early Day

What a great day for a hike! Got out of the house around 6:30am, headed up to Archangel Valley then Hatcher Pass. Archangel Valley was really wet with dew, some even a bit frozen due to having quite a cool morning. We didn’t spend that much time in Archangel, I was soaked, so headed up to Hatcher Pass hoping it wouldn’t be busy this early on a Sunday morning. It wasn’t, so I parked, let the dogs out, and up the mountain we climbed. Looking on a Topo map after getting home, I found I was at about 4600+FT. I would have spent more time up there but I needed to get home to work on the Jeep, my muffler broke and was making lots of noise. Even with the Jeep problem, this was a great day.

I will continue to try and get out the door much much earlier, it just can’t be beat.

Some of the photos from today.
