I wanted to stay around the house today and go things, didn’t want to be in the weekend crowds. I’ll most likely go out tomorrow morning while the churchies are at their gatherings. Sooo, I’m mowing, just around the house, about an acre and a half. I tell ya, not sure who long I’ll be about to do this without a riding mower, it’s getting to be too much for me.
Anyway, I have to get back at it (was just taking a break) before it gets too damn hot, it’s already 77°F.

Long Weekend
I have a four day weekend this week. What am I going to do? Probably not much. I’ll go out for a drive at least one of the days, but other than that, I have no idea.
Hmm, I thought I had something to say, but I guess not, at least here.
Finally
The ex-owner(s) are picking up the rest of their stuff today. He has made one load in a pickup so far and he’ll be back with a trailer to get the rest in a little while. I’m glad it’s “him” picking it up and not “her”, he’s ok, but it’s her that’s turned into a bitch. I haven’t heard anything more about her taking me to court for money she thinks I owe her. It will be good to have their crap gone, it was suppose to be gone before snow fell last fall.
Update: They are done! Now they can stay the fuck away.
Crappy Weather Day
It’s been one crappy day, weather wise. Steady rain (1.27″ so far), winds around 25 MPH and cold, with a temp at 39°. Had some ice pellets mixing in with the rain earlier. I haven’t even been outside, other than a peek to see what it was really like. So what have I been doing? Laundry! And a shit load of it. I finally getting around to sorting and washing all the bedding. I started out just stripping the bed to change it, but once I started digging into things, I started washing it all.
Anyway, that’s my day…
Furniture Moving
Up until about a week ago, all the furniture was right where it was dumped when I moving in to this place. The other day I moved my desk(s) and stuff, today I’m moving (and cleaning, scrubbing, the floors big time) the couches and a few other things around . Not sure if I’m liking it, but oh well, it’s not as if anyone else will ever see it. I still really really want to paint these fucking dark green walls, but without being able to see colors correctly, I’m not sure when that will ever get done. Anyway, being a very rainy and cold weekend, I thought this would be the day to move shit.
So That’s Where It All Goes
Yeah, I was wondering where all the hummer juice in one of the feeders was going. This little bugger tips the feeder so that the juice runs out the hole then drinks it. Squirrel with a sugar buzz.
Between Seasons
Looks like a beautiful day today with sunny skies and temps in the mid 40s, but what to do. Still too much snow after this last storm to go out on the trails and hit some waterfalls. The lake shores are kind of boring due to lack of ice and too much snow again to hike along the shore. It’s already 8:30 AM, so time is running along. I just don’t know what to do. I have things to do around the house, but I hate wasting such a nice day, but again, it’s between seasons. In a week or so the trails should be good, so I guess I’ll just have to wait. Don’t know…
So I’m just sticking around the house, though I did make a quick run to get some bird seed and down my road a bit to check it out. Just past the snowmobile club the road stops being plowed and it looked like a couple people have driven further, but it looked pretty deep still, so I turned around. Between the snowmobile club and the house there is a little road that I’ve been wanting to go up, but it to is still too deep with snow. I did get out though and walked up to a bridge that crosses Menge Creek and took a photo. Looking at Google Earth, there looks like there’s a nice pond up the road a bit, so I’ll be checking that out when I can get back there.
